lets see on all builds firefox fixes this problem. And never heard of this add on. At least not on there website. I been using firefox for years and never had to use an add on to optimize the program. so i would stay away from this.
Things that make u say Hmmmm....Like Joeblow, I've been a longtime user, and never heard of this add-on for Firefox. Think I'll stay clear and watch the comments after me on this...if it's too good to be true, then it probably is.
well,,,,, I thought to give this a try however, although the torrent completed its download, I could not find it anywhere on my pc ??? poof not there ??? I then checked my task manager and firefox is running as usual ,,,,,oh well,,, I agree "things that make you go hmmm" I should have .....oh well doesn't matter at this point.
Firefox has to use the memory somewhere.... All you are doing is Diverting RAM into Hard Disc.....
Look at the Virtual Memory (Swap) figure....
Firefox NEEDS memory to process Images.... Using these tweaks, the memory gets dumped onto Hard Disc causing High Processor and Disc activity, while it is swapping things around.... While it is doing this, it is not running Firefox, so your System Speed will get worse... Also, as an awful lot of Disc writing is going on, the chances for file corruption is a lot higher...
