hdd failure

can someone help me, i need some help on how to recover data from damaged hard disks, especially when this hdd is not detectable by the bios. if there are some books in that and some tutorials or videos, i"ll be thankfull.

Do you hear any noise or ?
Is your hdd IDE , SATA ,SAS ?

does it make this noise ? if yes there is minimum hope that it will work , but you can try freezing your hdd if freezing does not work try it with high temp warm it up but not to much you can try this if you think you have problems with hdd motor (am not joking tho it's the only way you can do something or sent it to an expert -> do this if you only have very important files on it because the price will be high)
